On November 26, 2025, Jens Sørlie Kværner (BI Norwegian Business School) visited the Institute for Public Finance. He engaged in discussions with faculty and staff members about current research topics and presented his project, in which he shows that private households—particularly wealthy investors—play a central and volatility-driving role in shaping stock prices, using an asset-demand model and comprehensive ownership data for Norwegian stocks.
