Lennard Zyska had the opportunity to visit the University of Cape Town (School of Economics, Development Policy Research Unit), South Africa, from March to May, in the context of his ongoing research on the political economy and socio-economic effects of electricity scarcity. During his stay, he engaged with colleagues in discussions on current research projects and presented his work. The visit also provided valuable first-hand insights into the local context of electricity shortages and their broader economic and social implications.
