On May 7, 2025, Henning Giese from the University of Paderborn visited the Institute of Public Finance at Leibniz University Hannover. He presented his paper „The Effects of Tax Reform on Labor Demand within Tax Departments“. Specifically, the authors analyze the effects of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) on the number of job postings and skill profiles for tax department positions in large U.S. firms. He also engaged in conversations and discussions with researchers from various institutes.
