Welcome to the Institute of Public Finance!

We conduct research on the effects and the optimal design of government interventions in the economy. Our focus is on empirical tax research and the analysis of social security systems. Numerous courses on these topics are offered in the bachelor's and master's degree programs. We are part of the research cluster Accounting & Taxation.
